WANGARATTA Monday

Mr Laurence O'Brien of Greta storekeeper and publican was going home from the meeting of the Oxley Shire Council, of which he was a member on Saturday evening when his horses threw him on his head. He was picked up in an insensible condition and carried back to Mr Dunlop's hotel, Oxley where he expired this morning with out having recovered consciousness.
