Full text of article

Lieutenant O'Connor, of the Queensland native police, has made a further application to the Victorian Government for an inquiry into the conduct of the black trackers under his command here in connexion with the pursuit and capture of the Kelly gang.

Mr Berry will not decide as to whether there shall be an inquiry, or what shall be the scope of any investigation, until after the trial of Edward Kelly has taken place.
