History at Bailey Hill before the KellyGang

Jason Withers was at Bailey Hill in 1841. It was from there that he moved to the Black Dog Creek and started Ulina station. Robert W.P Ashley has been working on the Withers history and genealogy for a long time and has produced a book on the Withers family.

The run was owned by Tolmie and Bethune. (16,000 acres)

In 1876 the license to Bailie's Hill was owned by Issac Younghusband and Andrew Lyell , ? acres, £28/2/6 half year license fee

And the license to Bailie's Hill East was held by the Bank of Australasia , ? acres, £28/2/6 half year license fee
