Sebastopol Cavalcade 7/11/1878 In November 1878 Donald Cameron MLA (1877-1880) Berry, the Premier, that there should be an enquiry into the police. Berry replied to that he would call one if there was evidence of a want of proper organisation amongst the police. That statement probably led to the KellyGang to write the Cameron Letter . He gave the letter to Berry and he did nothing about it.

The Cameron letter was written at Faithfuls Creeek. what did I do with it? (Argus18/12/78) (Argus19/12/78)
