The Police Commission held another meeting yesterday, Mr Longmore occupying the chair Mr Otto Berliner was again examined in reference to his recommendations for the reconstruction of the force. Detective Eason gave evidence in relation to the administration of the defective branch, particularly in the country districts, and Senior constable Grady gave information regarding the organisation of the police force, with especial reference to the subject of promotions.
