The sub committee of the Police [[Royal Commission-followup|Commission]] Messrs Longmore Fincham and Hall MLAs will meet to day for the purpose of considering the future action of the commission and to define the scope of its inquiry. It is understood that the commission will be advised to first deal with the questions of recruiting the service and the appointment and promotion of officers. These matters having been disposed of, the commission will be recommended to consider subjects affecting the subordinate grades in the force. A certain number of delegates from each rank will be examined on general questions of police management but in no case will personal grievances be investigated. The questions of the re-organisation of the detective force and of the payment of superannuation allowances will be also dealt with.
