Edward [[Ned Kelly|Kelly]], who was once known as the mate of Power the bushranger, was brought before the [[Wangaratta|Wangaratta]] Court the other day charged with assaulting and threatening a hawker named [[Jeremiah McCormack|M'Cormack]] and his wife. Kelly was sent to gaol for three months, and was also required to provide sureties to keep the peace for 12 months.
