'''BONTHERAMBO'''

TO THE EDITOR OP THE ARGUS

Sir,-As it does not appear to be generally known that there is such a place on the map of Victoria as [[Bontherambo Plains|Bontherambo]], permit me through your columns to inform the public that the above is the name of the postal town for letters intended for Springs Railway Station, North-Eastern line.

Letters merely addressed "Springs" frequently take 10 days in transit, and arrive here endorsed "Try Chiltern," "Ballarat," " Bungaree," " Corowa," &c, occasioning much inconvenience to the unfortunate residents who are doomed to live in this outlandish district.

Your insertion of above will confer favour.-Yours, &c, H.
