BONTHERAMBO
TO THE EDITOR OP THE ARGUS
Sir,-As it does not appear to be generally known that there is such a place on the map of Victoria as Bontherambo, permit me through your columns to inform the public that the above is the name of the postal town for letters intended for Springs Railway Station, North-Eastern line.
Letters merely addressed "Springs" frequently take 10 days in transit, and arrive here endorsed "Try Chiltern," "Ballarat," " Bungaree," " Corowa," &c, occasioning much inconvenience to the unfortunate residents who are doomed to live in this outlandish district.
Your insertion of above will confer favour.-Yours, &c, H.
