'''THE MANSFIELD MURDERS'''

[BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH]

(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT)

BENALLA, WEDNESDAY NIGHT

The [[Police Search Parties|police party]] who proceeded to Euroa last evening returned by the early train to-day, having found that they had been sent on a fool's errand, the information sent to them being untrustworthy. It is said that they went about 15 miles from Euroa and there interviewed a bushman. They then found that the Kellys had not been there as was stated, and at once returned.
