Full text of article
James Wallace, the state school teacher who was recently suspended on the recommendation of the Police Commission, on the ground that he was a sympathiser with the Kelly gang, has applied to the Minister of Education for a full inquiry into his case. It is considered inadvisable to appoint a board to review the action of a commission, and beyond a departmental investigation, which is now proceeding, nothing has been done in the matter. Mr Grant will devote some attention to the request at a subsequent period.
