There were 41 children present at the examination, the result of which was highly satisfactory. The children went through their examination with marked success, obtaining 85 per cent. of passes. This result will be pleasing both to the teacher, Mr Towns, and the parents of the children attending the school. Mr Geary reports of the school in the following words - "The Discipline is good. Instruction. - Since last examination there has been a great and manifest improvement in all classes, and the school generally is in a creditable state of working efficiency."

At the previous examination the children obtained 25 per cent: of passes. Since Mr Town took charge of it; 12 months ago, he has raised the school to a respectable percentage, it having increased 60 per cent.
