Importance of Arthur Wolfe Chomley

Early Years I graduated from Melbourne University in law in 1863.

Sup Chomley was my brother.

Photograph Fitzpatrick Incident 15/04/1878 I was part of the team that prosecuted Mrs Ellen Kelly, William Skillion and Bricky Williamson after they were arrested after the Fitzpatrick incident and charged with attempted murder. The trial was held at Beechworth

Ned Kelly's Trial

On 6/8/1880 I appeared with Mr Smyth at Ned Kellys committal hearing in Beechwoth.(Age6/8/1880) (Herald8/8/1880)

We then presented the case for the Crown against Ned Kelly at his trial.
