I was 5ft 8in. tall with grey eyes, light brown hair, fair complexion '''Business as a store keeper and hawker''' I employed by [[James Gloster|Mr Gloster]] the draper in [[Seymour|Seymour]] and [[Hawkers People|hawker]]. I joined the police in March 1886 as a Mounted Constable..
I was stationed at Nathalia for some years during my service in the police and was also at Wunghn
After I retired from the police as a result of "Bodily Infirmity" 31.1.1904 I bought the Cumberland [[Hotels Pubs and Shanties|Hotel]], Wunghnu
I died at Nine Mile Creek, Victoria, on 3 December 1904 and I am buried together with my wife Christina in the '''Wunghnu''' Cemetry. She died in 3/10/1947
