History at Magora before the KellyGang

Also called Magorra or Wangerar

Samuel Bowler first settled Magora in about 1844 but he left it. It was then taken up by William Wyse in about 1850 and he passed it on to Ingham and Marsden. John Aherne was incharge in 1856 but by 1862 Samuel Bowler was back at Magora and he remained there until about 1871
