History at Millers Ponds before the KellyGang

The first settler of this district was a Mr Harland . When he came to farm here the area was known as Millers Pond. Licensed to John Brock (30,000)

Where did the name Millers Ponds come from

The name Millers Pond started when an explorer, Mr Miller, passed through the district. Camping one night near some marshes which reminded him of ponds, he named the area after himself, as Millers Pond.
