== Importance of the Photographers ==

=== Most of the people who took part in these great events were recorded by the photographers. Beechworth, Wangaratta and most of the other towns had a photographer. Most families got dressed up uin their sunday best and had their photograph taken. Most of these photographs were stills taken in a studio but there are some remarkable images of the Glenrowan Inn burning. ===
