KELLYANA "[[home_reference|Kellyana]]," by Clive Turnbull. The Hawthorn Press, Melbourne Mr Turnbull is the author of "Ned, Kelly: Being the Story of his Life and Crimes," 1942. also published by the Hawthorn Press. In "Kellyana" he provides a bibliography of works about and references to, Kelly and his gang The first item is G Wilson Hall's "The Kelly Gang or the Outlaws of the Wombat Ranges' issued in 1879 while the bushrangers were still at large It is now a very rare piece. The last item is Mr Douglas Stewart's, play recently published In a brief introduction Mr Turnbull remarks on the continuous public interest in Kelly, and indicates that the time is ripe for a full historical account to be written. His books will do much to help the author, whoever he is to be.
