'''THE KELLY OUTRAGES'''

[BY TELEGRAPH]

(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT)

MELBOURNE , FRIDAY

The Kelly gang is believed to be not far away from Euroa, perhaps eight or nine miles in the Strathbogie Ranges. The police, it is believed, will make a movement in that direction, while Superintendent Sadler, with a body of strong, finely mounted men, will proceed from Benalla. A camp has been seen in the ranges and three bay horses. The men living about there are known to be sympathisers of the Kellys.

LATER

The Government has increased the [[Reward|reward]] for the capture of Ned Kelly to £1000. There are loud complaints about the police, but the blame is thrown on tho higher authorities.
