THE KELLY OUTRAGES

[BY TELEGRAPH]

(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT)

MELBOURNE , FRIDAY

The Kelly gang is believed to be not far away from Euroa, perhaps eight or nine miles in the Strathbogie Ranges. The police, it is believed, will make a movement in that direction, while Superintendent Sadler, with a body of strong, finely mounted men, will proceed from Benalla. A camp has been seen in the ranges and three bay horses. The men living about there are known to be sympathisers of the Kellys.

LATER

The Government has increased the reward for the capture of Ned Kelly to £1000. There are loud complaints about the police, but the blame is thrown on tho higher authorities.
