Dean [[../../people/peD_G/gibneyMRev.html|'''Gibney''']], the vicar-general of Western Australia, who played such a conspicuous part in the final scenes connected with the destruction of the Kelly Gang at Glenrowan, has returned from New South Wales, where he spent several months in collecting funds for the orphanage at Subiaco, near Perth, which was struck by lightning some time ago. He was very successful in his mission, and intends to appeal to the liberality of Victorians to supplement his efforts to clear the orphanage of debt.
