BENALLA POLICE COURT

Tuesday, November 12.

((Before Mr Sharpe) Jane Graham surrendered to her bail to answer a charge of stealing a saddle. Mrs Ellen Kelly also been charged with the same offence, and let out on her own recognisance.

A person named Melldrope came forward and said that on Saturday last Mrs Kelly's eldest daughter (Mrs Gunn) had died, and as the funeral was to take place to-day, Mrs Kelly could not attend.

The case was postponed until the 19th inst.
