Warby Ranges search party 6/11/1878 At the time of the murders I was based in Shepparton (Argus29/10/79)

On 1/11/1878 AssCom Nicolson sent me out in charge of a search party to follow up on a report at Murray Flats, near Baumgarten's place (RC344) (RC1762) (CHC) (JJK)

My colleague Const McGuirk was with me. (RC15514)

On 6/11/1878 I took out a search party from Wangaratta to Lake Rowan (RC12361)

Const Fitzpatrick was a member. He told me something about Aaron Sherritt and Det Ward. (RC12928)

A few days later I took a party to Lake Rowan. We searched the right side of the Glenrowan range. Insp Brook Smith took the other side. (RC17283)

I proceeded from Benalla to Mansfield in connexion with the charge against Walter Lynch for sending a threatening letter to Mr Monk. (Argus12/11/78)
