WANGARATTA Monday

Mr Laurence O'Brien of [[Greta|Greta]] storekeeper and publican was going home from the meeting of the Oxley Shire Council, of which he was a member on Saturday evening when his horses threw him on his head. He was picked up in an insensible condition and carried back to Mr Dunlop's hotel, [[Oxley|Oxley]] where he expired this morning with out having recovered consciousness.
