Changes

On Wednesday a deputation consisting of Archdeacon Tucker, the Rev TJ Egan, and Mr Tone, the Mayor of [[Wangaratta|Wangaratta]], waited upon the Benalla Shire Council to solicit help from that body, and to remove an apparent misunderstanding which had arisen. On being introduced, Dr Tucker said that some time ago the attention of the Hospital Committee wan directed to a newspaper paragraph stating that the committee had not acted courteously to tire Council, and consequently the Council had refused to contribute. These was no intention in the minds of any member of the Hospital Committee to slight any member-of the Council, much more the President.
