The Police Commission met yesterday, Mr Longmore occupying the chair. The only witness examined was Mr Chomley, chief commissioner, whose evidence dealt principally with the recommendations embodied in his report to the Government indicating the improvements necessary to make the force equal to public requirements. The commission will meet again on Tuesday.
