At the meeting of the Police Commission yesterday there were present Messrs Longmore (chairman), Fincham, Anderson , Hall, Dixon, and Levey. Superintendent Winch was examined, and gave evidence relative to the general organisation of the force the duties of the various grades and the relations of the detectives to the other branches of the service. He also submitted his views on several important points to be considered in reconstructing the force. The commission will meet again to day.
