The details of the evidence given at the inquest on the Chinaman, [[Ah Fook|Ah Fook]], who was recently found dead at the Woolshed, show that the deceased was frightfully mutilated. Several of the wounds were sufficient separately to cause death; and though the deceased might possibly have inflicted them himself, as suggested by the police, it seems scarcely credible that he should have done so. At the same time, there were no indications that any struggle had taken place, and nothing has happened to direct suspicion against any individual or individuals. The jury yesterday, we learn from our Beechworth correspondent, by telegraph, returned a verdict of "wilful murder against some person or persons unknown."
