Ian Jones has worked in a television and film industries but he is perhaps best known as an authority on the KellyGang. Two of his most important books are Ned Kelly A Short Life and The Friendship that Destroyed Ned Kelly, Joe Byrne & Aaron Sherritt, both published by Lothian Publishing Company Pty Ltd. Ian Jones has spent a life time studying the story of the KellyGang.
