Before the Glenrowan siege I was born in Tasmania and was a stone cutter or quarryman Siege at Glenrowan I was one of the blokes living in the tents along side the track. We were working for Mr Piazzi.

I was injured in the eye at the siege. The police sent me to Melbourne for treatment. Sup Sadlier mentioned this in his report to the Commissioner of Police.(Argus20/7/80)

Later in 1880 I died from my injury in hospital in Melbourne
